Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in cancer registry or health information management required.
• Proficiency in cancer registry coding systems and guidelines (ICD-O-3, AJCC TNM, SEER).
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and data confidentiality practices.

Responsibilities

• Identify, abstract, and submit reportable cancer cases per standards.
• Enter and validate cancer data with coding guidelines (ICD-O-3, AJCC TNM).
• Coordinate follow-up to determine survival and outcomes per standards.
• Assist in bi-weekly cancer conferences and committee meetings.
• Prepare and present program performance reports.
