Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Successful completion of a State Approved Medication Aide course.
• Personal Care Assistant or Certified Nursing Certification required.
• Ability to communicate effectively in written and oral form.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates positive relationships with residents, families and staff.
• Protects residents' rights and treats them with dignity and respect.
• Attends in-service and continuing education per state rules.
• Maintains confidentiality of residents' information per HIPAA guidelines.
• Completes documentation accurately and promptly.
• Reports changes in a resident's condition to supervisor.
• Operates equipment safely and adheres to training.
• Follows infection control practices and safety procedures.
