Responsibilities

• Follow and promote proper Pharmacy procedures and safety protocols.
• Use scanning and counting tech to select products for prescriptions.
• Replenish medication counting devices and maintain equipment uptime.
• Assist with maintaining pharmacy systems and devices for counting, packaging, and shipping.
• Monitor inventory, troubleshoot packaging machines, and escalate issues as needed.
• Manually fill prescriptions as necessary and verify product attributes (size, strength, quantity).
• Ensure prescription labels are correct and maintain documentation.
• Prepare packages, sort, and manifest orders; assist inventory audits and rotate stock.
• Support Inventory Technicians and participate in audits as required.

Job description

Main responsibilities

• Follow and promote proper Pharmacy, general safety, and security procedures and processes of the company.




• Use scanning and counting technologies to identify and select appropriate pharmaceutical products and quantities for filling prescription orders.




• Ensuring medication counting devices are continuously replenished.




• Assist with maintaining the pharmacy system and technologiesthat facilitate proper counting, conveyance, packaging, and shipping of prescriptions.




• Monitoring inventory and supply levels at the responsible stations, calibrating machines, general troubleshooting (jams, blockages) within conveyance, counting, and packaging machines, escalating technical issues, and working as a team to reach team goals.




• Monitoring and maintaining uptime of automated counting, collating, packaging, and sorting devices, ensuring continuous operation through basic troubleshooting of routine errors.




• Create and maintain documentation as requested.




• Manually fill prescriptions as needed.




• Verify attributes of the product such as: size, strength, quantity, etc. before processing orders. Enter or scan expiration date and lot numbers.




• Ensure labels on prescriptions are correct.




• Prepare packages, sort, and manifest prescription orders if needed.




• Stock and rotate merchandise and supplies to limit shrinkage if needed.




• Assist Inventory Technicians as requested. Participate in Inventory Audits as needed.




• Other duties as assigned concurrent with all applicable laws and regulations.

Physical Requirements
