Job summary

Albertsons Companies is seeking a Production Team Lead for the Central Fulfillment Center in Ridgefield, WA. You will guide and coach a production team, resolve workflow issues, and ensure safety and efficiency in a licensed pharmacy environment.

This role supports the Pharmacist in Charge and Group Supervisor, with day or afternoon/night shifts, typically a 40-hour week and occasional overtime. Strong leadership and technical skills are required.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy Technician License in the Central Fill home state.
• Ability to preserve confidentiality of patient information.
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification (preferred).
• Previous experience as a pharmacy technician lead or manager/supervisor.
• Central Fulfillment Pharmacy Technician experience (preferred).
• Good computer skills and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Guide, train, and motivate the production team under supervision.

What You Will Be Doing

The Production Team Lead at the Central Fulfillment Center is responsible for the day‑to‑day guiding, leading, training, coaching, and motivating the production team in a Central Fulfillment Center setting, ensuring operational efficiency and productivity. The Production Team Lead, reporting to the Pharmacist in Charge(PIC) or Group Supervisor, will work closely to resolve technical and workflow issues at the functional stations assigned with a sense of purpose and urgency. The Production Team Lead should be a functional expert and continuously sharpen the skills of the Team Members to achieve site and company goals.

The position will be based in Ridgefield, WA. The shift arrangement is either day shift or afternoon/nights working Sunday-Thursday. A typical 40‑hour workweek with occasional overtime is to be expected.

Main Responsibilities

• Acts as a working lead for all production activities of the team members.


• Guides, trains, corrects, and supports the team on daily activities under the supervision of the Pharmacist in Charge/Group Supervisor.


• Displays safety minded leadership in all aspects of production/fulfillment.


• Subject matter expert for production line software/hardware issues, as well as each functional role. Partner with production maintenance technician and IT Specialist to problem‑solve and troubleshoot.


• Responsible for appropriate triaging of issues and escalations, partnering with both internal personnel and external third‑party vendors or contractual workers.


• Responsible for working on the production line (within licensure) if needed.


• Assist with maintaining the pharmacy system and technologies that facilitate uptime of proper counting, conveyance, packaging, and shipping of prescriptions.


• Participates in general facilities maintenance that promotes general upkeep and functioning of the central fill facility.


• Continuously develop process improvements for team direction, production line efficiency, and overall workflow.


• Work well within a team environment with the General Manager, PIC, Group Supervisor, and other leaders at the site.


• Ensures site and team compliance with all federal, state, local, and company regulations, policies & procedures.


• Completes special projects as assigned.


• Other duties as assigned concurrent with all applicable laws and regulations.

Physical Requirements

• Willing and able to stand/walk at least 8 hours with or without reasonable accommodation.
