Job summary

Schnucks is hiring for a center store clerk. This role requires availability across mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends, with 20–25 hours per week. Training will be provided at store level, and duties include stocking, merchandising, and assisting customers in multiple departments.

The position involves maintaining shelves, following safety guidelines, and supporting daily store productivity. Physical demands include lifting up to 50 pounds and working in a cold environment.

Qualifications

• Availability mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to stock 50 cases per hour.
• Able to work in a cold environment (-10 to 40 degrees).

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and courteous service to customers.
• Regular, reliable attendance is an essential function of the job.
• Stock, straighten and rotate product on shelves in Dairy, Frozen, Non-Foods, and Grocery Departments.
• Process incoming product from our warehouse and direct store delivery vendors.
• Read and understand shelf tags.
• Sort damaged product for credit.
• Operate a hand jack, power lift and cardboard baler.
• Follow company safety guidelines when using cutters, power lifts, and baler.
• Maintain cleanliness of shelves, displays, backroom, refrigerated cases, cooler and freezer.
• Maintain company productivity standards.
• Other duties may be assigned at the discretion of store management.
