Job summary

Food Lion in Raleigh, NC is seeking a friendly, service-driven associate for the Center Store (Grocery). You will provide quality customer service, stock shelves, and ensure accurate pricing and display according to policy.

You will follow safety guidelines, operate cash register, learn store systems (ACIS, CAO), and support the team with a positive, neat appearance and a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job
• Ability to use technical information to solve problems
• Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job functions
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodations

Responsibilities

• Maintain enthusiastic customer awareness with fast, friendly, and accurate service
• Be courteous and helpful to other associates
• Stock shelves and keep shelf tag moldings clean
• Maintain shelf allocations by stocking from tag to tag
• Place only saleable merchandise on the shelves
• Ensure ordering, receiving, preparation, conditioning and displaying follow policies
• Understand and use company tools such as ACIS and CAO
• Follow Food Safety and Workplace Safety guidelines and procedures
• Report accidents to Manager on Duty
• Wear the Food Lion uniform with name badge and maintain neat appearance
