Base pay range

$17.00/hr - $20.00/hr

The Part-Time Center Associate delivers world-class customer service to all retail customers by receiving and processing packages for courier shipment and operating copiers, fax machines, binding equipment, laminating machines, and point-of-sale devices. The Associate advises customers on products and services, providing accurate information and demonstrating industry knowledge.

The ideal candidate has previous retail sales experience, strong computer and internet skills, a high school diploma or GED, a friendly demeanor, and a professional appearance. They should be quick learners eager to understand all aspects of the business.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver outstanding customer service to walk-in customers and via phone inquiries
  • Practice good listening skills with customers, team members, and leadership
  • Take ownership of customer shipping needs and suggest solutions
  • Learn all product and service offerings, industry trends, and alternative solutions
  • Operate equipment and software proficiently and assist in teaching others
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Prompt, reliable, and responsible
  • Strong computer skills
  • Excellent phone skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, including spelling and math
  • Ability to stand for most of the shift
  • Ability to lift 40+ pounds
  • Willing to work 15-30 hours per week, including Saturdays
  • Available to work one Sunday in December
  • Willing to become a notary public (paid for by the store)
