City of Garland is seeking a semi-skilled custodian to prepare City facilities for daily operations and to maintain City-owned community centers in a clean, orderly condition. The role includes assisting the public with registrations and events and providing information about programs and schedules.

Responsibilities include basic cleaning, light maintenance, safe handling of cleaning chemicals, and reporting repairs to a supervisor.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Up to 1 year Custodial or customer service experience or equivalent.
• CDL Class C with Passenger Endorsement preferred but not required; valid Texas DL required.

Responsabilités

• Prepare building for daily operations.
• Maintain exterior of buildings, sidewalks, and bathrooms for public use.
• Assist the public with registrations and events.
• Provide information on programs, schedules and related information.
• Perform minor repairs and maintenance; report repairs as needed.
• Provide on-site facility supervision in absence of staff.
