Job summary

Arvum Senior Living is seeking an Activities & Events Coordinator to design and oversee resident programs that enrich physical, intellectual, social, emotional, and spiritual well-being in our communities. You will collaborate with care teams to schedule activities and ensure smooth event execution.

This role requires 1–3 years of experience in assisted living, the ability to engage older adults with creativity, and a valid driver’s license for transportation needs.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years experience in assisted living or long-term care with elderly clients.
• Ability to encourage and motivate older adults.
• Demonstrated creative ability.
• Valid driver’s license and able to drive a van.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and oversight of resident activities.
• Plan, schedule and conduct programs that provide physical, intellectual, social, emotional and spiritual opportunities for residents in our community.
• Attend all community planned functions and help coordinate the event from beginning to end including set-up, running, and breaking down for the event.
• Assist in preparing and organizing a calendar of events.
• Must be willing to work flexible hours (evenings and every other weekend) for planned activity events.
