Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing Co., L.P. is seeking a Hiker (Vehicle Transporter/Truck Driver) for weekend availability in Elizabethtown, KY. This role involves delivering and returning Penske vehicles, moving box trucks up to 26', and assisting the service department with parts delivery where needed.

The position is casual/on-call part-time, suitable for CDL Class B or A drivers seeking supplemental income, with 0 to 25 hours per week depending on business needs.

Qualifications

• Two years of driving experience required.
• Two years of a clean DMV record required.
• Valid Class B CDL required; Class A preferred.
• Must be able to read and follow written instructions.
• Ability to work independently, with customer service, organization, and a positive attitude.
• DOT drug screening within 30 days of start and FMCSA Clearinghouse checks.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety procedures while driving to Penske locations or customers.
• Inspect vehicles and report issues to location manager.
• Obtain receipts/signatures for delivered goods; collect payment when required.
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damages.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
