Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing in Riviera Beach, FL is seeking a Hiker (Vehicle Transporter/Truck Driver) to deliver and return Penske vehicles, including box trucks up to 26 feet; CDL Class A tractors may be included. This is a casual, on-call, part-time role reporting to the Riviera Beach location.

Shift: TBD; work anywhere from 0 to 25 hours per week based on business needs. You must have a valid Class B CDL, a clean DMV record, and the ability to work independently while meeting safety and DOT

Qualifications

• 2 years of driving experience required.
• 2 years of a clean DMV motor vehicle record required.
• Valid Class B CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence.
• CDL Class A license preferred.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions.
• Ability to work independently and maintain safety standards.
• DOT-regulated role requiring current driver qualification file and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety procedures while driving trucks to Penske locations or customer sites.
• Check vehicles for mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment and report issues.
• Obtain receipts/signatures for deliveries and collect payment when required.
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, or traffic violations.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
