Part-Time!!

$26.00 per hour

Job Summary

Responsible for delivery and pickup of containers to and/or from customer locations; provide an effective and incident-free delivery or pickup of a container while maintaining excellent rapport with the customer.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Drive and operate a commercial truck with a patented lift mechanism to load and unload containers at customer sites safely, following all safety rules.
2. Perform and log daily pre- and post-trip inspections of the commercial vehicle and lift.
3. Accept additional deliveries as required to meet business needs.
4. Use company handheld computer for delivery verification and navigation.
5. Operate a forklift and/or an overhead crane.
6. Clean and inspect containers to ensure they are presentable for delivery to customers.
7. Coordinate rental paperwork and payments with customers.
8. Communicate with the Driver Lead or Market Manager regarding customer questions/issues; prepare driver notes as needed.
9. Perform repairs of containers and lifts in the field and at the storage center.
10. Provide backup for storage center functions when needed.
11. Maintain cleanliness of the truck cab, inside and outside.
12. Perform other duties as assigned.

Management & Supervisory Responsibilities

• Typically reports to Management; direct supervisor titles include Market Manager, Territory Manager.
• This position is NOT responsible for managing other employees (hiring, termination, performance management).

Pay Range: $26.00 per hour. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, Paid Time Off, safety bonuses, boot vouchers, and uniforms.

Job Qualifications: Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid CDL Class B License without air brake restriction.
• Must maintain a current/valid driver license.
• Must meet PODS Driver Qualification Standards.
• At least 21 years old (insurance requirement).
• Valid Medical Examiner's Certificate or ability to obtain one (DOT requirement).
• Experience with electronic equipment and software preferred.
• Sufficient math skills.
• Equivalent education, training, or experience.
• Ability to attend a 2-week New Hire Driver Training Program.
