Essential Functions:

1. Customer Service
2. Provides SMART customer service by following Lowe's policies, procedures, and programs.
3. Assists customers in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise.
4. Responds promptly and knowledgeably to customer and employee questions, guiding them through projects when needed.
5. Expresses sincere appreciation to customers.
6. Provides information about stock, special orders, features, benefits, applications, and warranties related to Lowe’s programs.
7. Coordinates with customers and delivery personnel regarding delivery schedules.

In-stock

1. Plans and executes delivery activities, including printing loading tickets and ensuring on-time delivery.
2. Prepares merchandise for delivery, builds, bands loads, and loads trucks within payload limits.
3. Inspects products before loading and assists customers with loading when necessary.
4. Verifies invoice items with loaded quantities and descriptions.

Clean and Safe Stores

1. Ensures loads are safe, secure, and compliant with DOT regulations.
2. Updates delivery and route status for tracking purposes.
3. Unloads, installs, and tests appliances upon delivery.
4. Performs vehicle inspections, maintenance, and reports issues to ensure safety and compliance.
5. Completes DOT reporting to maintain certifications.
6. Detects security risks such as shoplifting and reports them promptly.
7. Maintains store cleanliness and organization, adhering to safety standards.
8. Operates store equipment as required by the specific role.
9. Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Class A or B CDL License with appropriate endorsements, depending on location.
• Valid medical certificate or ability to obtain one.
• Ability to pass MVR screening.
• Ability to obtain required sales licenses or registrations.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Ability to comply with DOT and CDL regulations.

Preferences:

• 1 year of experience driving semi-trucks/trailers or certification from a driving school.
• 6 months of experience in in-home delivery or retail customer service.
• 3 months of experience operating a forklift or Moffett for on/offloading.
