Accurate Expediting in Romulus, MI is seeking a reliable Truck Driver to operate tractor-trailers and straight trucks, ensuring on-time deliveries and compliance with safety rules.

You will perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections, manage route driving, and assist with loading/unloading when needed, including crossing the Canadian border as required. Compensation ranges from $20.00 to $24.00 per hour for this role.

Qualifications

• CDL with clean driving record.
• Must possess enhanced driver license to cross border into Canada.
• Must be 23 years of age.
• Experience with tractor-trailers and straight trucks; refrigerated trailers a plus.
• Ability to lift heavy loads; safety-conscious.

Responsibilities

• Operate trucks with automatic transmissions, including refrigerated trailers.
• Meet delivery schedules with efficient route driving.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections (Samsara).
• Load/unload cargo with forklifts or pallet jacks when required.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage.
• Follow traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Communicate with dispatch about delays or issues.
• Cross the Canadian border when required.
