Job summary

Maersk is seeking a reliable Non-CDL Straight Truck Driver to join the team in Romulus, MI. Candidates must have at least 1 year of verifiable straight truck experience within the last 3 years.

The role involves safely operating a Straight Truck, loading/unloading freight, and making deliveries to commercial and residential locations around a ~250 mile daily route. Qualified applicants will have a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and must meet DOT medical requirements.

Qualifications

• Verifiable Straight Truck experience is required.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record are mandatory.
• DOT medical required must be satisfied prior to employment.
• Minimum 1 year of verifiable Straight Truck experience in the last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Straight Truck.
• Load and unload freight using liftgate and pallet jack when needed.
• Touching freight is required 50% of the time.
• Complete timely and accurate deliveries to commercial and residential locations.
• Approximately 250 miles driven daily.
• Some installations may be required.
