Fareway Stores, Inc. is seeking a part-time Truck Driver to safely operate a semi-truck and deliver to our Boone, IA stores. You will read delivery assignments, drive tractor-trailer routes, and ensure cargo safety while complying with DOT regulations.

This position includes on-site work with flexible scheduling and weekly pay. Starting pay is $25.35 per hour, with a top wage of $26.80. Eligible benefits include paid time off, holidays, and paid training.

Qualifications

• Must have valid Class A CDL.
• DOT/FMCSA regulations knowledge required.
• High attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect equipment before and after trips and report issues.
• Drive tractor-trailer and deliver to Fareway stores across routes.
• Maintain driver logs and comply with DOT rules.
• Read delivery assignments and follow routes.
• Operate on-board technology and document weights when needed.
• Return backhauls as assigned and keep vehicle clean.
