Good Foods in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin is seeking a Part-time Truck Driver to transport refrigerated and dry freight. You will perform pre-trip inspections, log driving hours, and ensure safe, timely deliveries to customer locations.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age for interstate driving.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Class A CDL.
• Current DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate.
• Minimum of 3 years of CDL driving experience.
• Clean driving record with acceptable motor vehicle history.
• Ability to pass DOT drug and alcohol screening.
• Knowledge of FMCSA and DOT regulations.
• Ability to operate ELD systems and mobile communication devices.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class A commercial motor vehicle in accordance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
• Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Deliver and pick up refrigerated and dry freight in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain driver logs and required documentation using electronic logging devices (ELD).
• Report equipment defects, mechanical issues, accidents, incidents, and delays promptly to the appropriate personnel.
• Keep trucks, trailers, and associated equipment clean and in good working order.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, warehouses, management, and other team members through verbal, written, and active listening skills.
• Provide route coverage and operational support during vacations, absences, peak periods, special projects, and other business needs
• Assist with trailer moves, yard spotting, and other transportation-related duties as assigned.
• Demonstrate a proactive mindset, flexibility, and the ability to work under pressure.
• Maintain a professional appearance and represent the company positively at all customer locations.
• Attend safety training on a monthly and as needed basis.
