Job summary

Regina Caeli Academy in Overland Park, KS is seeking a part-time Preschool Teacher for a PK3 classroom, 13 hours per week. No teaching certification required; training provided. The candidate may have experience homeschooling or parish ministry, and should be committed to Catholic classical education.

Hourly positions include childcare/nursery is provided. Applicants must sign an Oath of Fidelity to the Catholic Church and complete RCA Safe Child training.

Qualifications

• Applicants must sign an Oath of Fidelity to the Catholic Church.
• Curriculum and grading guidelines are provided.
• Tutors are trained to provide instruction and classroom management according to RCA standards.
• Ideal applicant will have strong communication skills, good organization, timeliness and a Catholic faith commitment.

Responsibilities

• Teach in a PK3 classroom 13 hours per week.
• Prepare for classes at home and come to class prepared to teach in a highly structured environment.
• Complete a background check and RCA Safe Child training prior to teaching.
• All staff must have a clear background check.
