Job summary

Regina Caeli Academy in Overland Park, Kansas is seeking a part-time 5th Grade Teacher to nurture a classical Catholic classroom and help students explore ideas in a Socratic setting.

This role requires 13 hours per week (Mondays and Thursdays, 9:00am–3:30pm). No teaching certification is required; training is provided. All staff complete a background check and RCA Safe Child training, and applicants must live the Catholic faith day to day.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be able to sign an Oath of Fidelity to the Catholic Church.
• Background check and RCA Safe Child training are required.
• Experience in tutoring or teaching homeschool children is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Teach 5th grade in a classical Catholic classroom for 13 hours weekly.
• Prepare for classes at home and teach in a highly structured environment.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff.
