Job Description: Part-Time Catering and Events Staff

Position: Part-Time Catering and Events Staff

Hourly Rate: $15-17/hour

Job Type: Part-Time, Weekend Events

Location: Battle Creek and Kalamazoo Area

Dress Code: Black pants, black button-down shirt, black belt, black shoes. No facial piercings, visible tattoos, or unnatural hair colors.

Responsibilities:

Front of House Duties:

• Serving guests at upscale events and weddings.
• Water service, bread service.
• Carrying large trays and serving plated dinners.
• Maintaining professionalism and providing exceptional customer service.

Back of House Duties:

• Food preparation and plating.
• Expediting food.
• Washing dishes and maintaining back-of-house organization.

Additional Requirements:

• Must be able to take direction on the fly.
• Responsible for driving to and from the event space.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in catering, events, or hospitality preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
