Responsibilities include accurate item scanning, ID checks for restricted purchases, bagging, and helping customers with a friendly, helpful attitude. This is a part-time, on-site role with weekly pay and benefits for eligible associates.

Qualifications

• Basic computer and math skills.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
• Prompt and regular attendance based on schedule.
• Adherence to dress code and personal hygiene standards.
• May be cross trained in other departments.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and engage in friendly conversation.
• Scan items quickly and correctly.
• Operate the register or monitor self-checkout and accept various payments.
• Use equipment accurately (terminal, scanner, keyboard, intercom, etc.).
• Verify ID for liquor/tobacco according to law and policy.
• Bag items with care and load into cart.
• Keep equipment in good working order.
• Keep work area sanitary with approved cleaners.
• Work safely to prevent injuries.
• Observe and report shoplifters.
