Job summary

ALDI in Bloomington, IN is hiring part-time cashiers and stockers. You will provide friendly checkout service as a cashier and keep shelves stocked as a stocker, contributing to a smooth store operation and a great shopper experience.

Starting wage is $19 per hour with increases over the years; roles require early hours for stockers and flexibility. Benefits are available for eligible employees, with a focus on safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• Must be able to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Ability to operate POS system and cash handling procedures.
• Ability to interpret and apply ALDI operating policies and procedures.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic arithmetic including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
• Ability to follow instructions and pay attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Cashier responsibilities: operate POS, scan items, manage curbside pickup orders, adhere to cash policies.
• Stocker responsibilities: stock shelves, follow merchandising plans, arrive by 5:00am when required.
• Maintain store zones, merchandising standards and inventory procedures.
• Perform general cleaning and ensure a safe working environment.
