Job summary

ALDI USA is seeking enthusiastic part-time store associates, stockers and cashiers in Plano, TX. You’ll help merchandise, stock shelves, operate the POS, and keep the store clean to ensure a great shopping experience.

Positions include cashier, stocker and store associate with wage starts at $18.50 per hour. Wage increases occur in Year 2–Year 5 with annual raises. Flexible hours and part-time scheduling apply. ALDI offers benefits to eligible employees.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Ability to operate all store equipment such as cash registers, floor scrubber, pallet jacks, and handheld devices.
• Ability to interpret and apply ALDI operating policies and procedures.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
• Ability to follow instructions and pay attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and with others.
• Ability to maintain reliable and prompt attendance.
• Ability to meet availability requirements.

Responsibilities

• Models and fulfills all customer service principles and escalates concerns to store management as necessary.
• Assists store management in achieving operational efficiency goals.
• Assists store management in achieving total loss goals.
• Complies with all established company policies and processes.
• Supports store management in providing a safe working environment by identifying hazards and maintaining equipment.
• Maintains store zones and merchandising standards at all times.
• Adheres to inventory procedures and product handling guidelines.
• Performs general cleaning tasks to company standards.
