At JAX Mercantile Co., we are passionate about serving our customers. Join our local, family and employee-owned company as a Part-Time Cashier in our JAX Outdoor Gear location in Lafayette, CO. Make someone's day by sharing your enthusiasm and excitement about equipment and gear for outdoor adventures that we sell at JAX!

Our Cashiers are responsible for actively greeting customers, providing top notch customer service, understanding current promotions, accurately processing transactions, maintaining a clean workspace, maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor, and assisting other departments when needed. The position requires outgoing engagement with customers or daily tasks, and the physical demands include standing throughout the work shift. JAX employees pitch-in where needed and share their enthusiasm for our products with customers everyday.

Our ideal candidate has great customer service skills, takes initiative, works well individually and with others, is organized, situationally aware, attentive to details, and communicates well.

Our cashiers are typically the first and last JAX representative our customers interact with, so we are looking for stellar candidates to come be a part of the great team that is responsible for turning our customers into repeat customers!

Schedule Requirements:

• MUST be available one weekend day

Pay Range:Starting at $15.14 an hour

Positions: 1 Part-Time position
