Job summary

The GIANT Company in Lehighton, PA is seeking a flexible team member to scan/enter numbers on register, lift and move goods, and assist with restock and front-end duties. You will also handle bagging, making change, and community-focused service while supporting store operations and guest experiences.

Responsibilities include setting up checkout areas, maintaining displays, and delivering friendly, accurate service.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must communicate and understand company policies and safety regulations to complete duties.
• Must meet ergonomic and physical requirements, with or without accommodation.
• Must be able to use or learn the equipment and tools used to perform this job.
• Must complete the company introductory (probationary) period of 30 or 60 days.
• Must perform all job functions safely and meet performance standards including regular attendance.
• Must wear the proper assigned clothes and shoes approved for this job.
• Must have technical training (this is a job specific requirement).

Responsibilities

• Review the work schedule at the start of the shift and prepare for duties.
• Block aisles, set up checkout areas, and set up displays as needed.
• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Tally items, take money, and make change.
• Bag items and place bags into carts when necessary.
