Job summary

UNFI's Cub Savage location in Savage, MN seeks a dedicated Part Time Cashier to handle front-end checkout procedures and deliver prompt, courteous service. You will assist customers, scan products, and process payments accurately in a fast-paced retail environment.

The role requires standing for long periods, basic math, and the ability to follow instructions. Weekend and evening shifts are required, with flexible scheduling and employee benefits offered where applicable.

Qualifications

• Equipment operation: scanners, registers, coupon machines, etc.
• Ongoing customer interaction delivering prompt, courteous service.
• Basic counting, reading and writing skills required.
• Ability to memorize, read, write and perform simple math.
• Follow verbal or demonstrated instructions.
• Ability to work varying shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must be 16 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with courtesy and proper service levels.
• Scan products and process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Handle cash, coupons, and other tender forms properly.
• Manage refunds, voids and exchanges as needed.
• Respond to customer questions or requests.
• Assist with front-end maintenance and cleanliness.
