Job Overview

Cub Savage is looking for a dedicated individual to fill a Part Time Overnight Cashier position! Cashiers at Cub follow front end checkout procedures in all transactions, maintaining positive customer relations, and expedient processing of all orders. This position requires ongoing customer interaction, providing prompt, courteous and accurate service!

Job Responsibilities

• Assist customers and ensure proper service levels and courtesy from all associates
• Perform product scanning and processing of customer order in an accurate, efficient and prompt manner
• Ensure proper handling of all forms of tender and coupons
• Ensure accurate handling of all voids, returns, refunds and exchanges
• Assist with customer questions or requests
• Assist with front end maintenance and cleaning

Job Requirements

• Equipment operation (scanner, register, check approval machine, coupon machine, intercom, calculator, etc.)
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Memorization, reading, writing and math skills
• Must be able to work shifts varying in length and time, including nights, weekends and holidays
• Must be 18 years of age and older
• Good judgment is required as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available
• Have the ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions; write identifying information; request supplies verbally or in writing

Physical Requirements

• Lifting or carrying up to 50 lbs.
• Walking on uneven ground
• Reaching, bending, turning and repetitive motions

Schedule

• Overnight shift – hours between 10pm-6am. Weekend availability required.
