Job summary

All American Quality Food Inc in Macon, GA is seeking a Part Time Cashier to provide fast, friendly checkout services. You will handle cash, card, and other payments, scan and weigh items, and help keep the register area neat and organized.

You will assist customers with questions, restock supplies, bag groceries, and perform go-backs of returned or abandoned merchandise, while maintaining accuracy and safety at all times.

Qualifications

• Good customer service skills.
• Able to read, write and perform basic math problems.
• Physical requirements: able to lift 25 lbs, stand, reach, twist, bend, stoop, squat and kneel.

Responsibilities

• Provides fast and friendly checkout services for customers.
• Assists customers with questions about store.
• Scans and weighs products during the checkout process.
• Handles cash and other forms of payment properly.
• Maintains a neat and clean work area.
• Restocks register supplies.
• Performs “go-backs” of returned or abandoned merchandise.
• Bags groceries when necessary or assists Courtesy Clerk in doing so.
• Other duties as assigned.
