Rusty Lantern Markets is hiring a Part Time Cashier for our store at 1051 Auburn Rd, Turner, ME. You will greet customers, process transactions, and help maintain a smooth checkout experience.

Responsibilities include accurate cash handling, assisting with shelving and inventory, and promoting current deals while delivering friendly customer service in a fast-paced environment. Schedule includes Tue, Thu–Sat 2:00 pm–10:00 pm; must be 21+ due to alcohol, tobacco, and lottery sales.

Qualifications

• Previous cashier/retail experience preferred but not required.
• Strong cash handling with attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the cash register and POS system.
• Greet customers warmly and assist with their needs.
• Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with accurate cash handling.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
• Assist with stocking shelves and inventory management to ensure product availability.
• Respond to customer inquiries over the phone professionally.
• Inform customers about current deals and offers.
