Job summary

Harris Teeter is seeking a part-time associate to take excellent care of customers, satisfy needs, and ensure a pleasant shopping experience in our Florida stores. The role requires bagging procedures, carryout and parcel pickup, merchandise loading into customer vehicles, and returning carts to the store.

Candidates should have strong communication and English language skills, be at least 16 years old, and complete company training including safety and product knowledge.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English.
• Ability to write simple correspondence in English.
• Ability to present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers who speak English.
• Associates must be at least 16 years of age.
• Complete company training including new hire orientation, safety, bagger technical skills, and product knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Take Excellent Care Of Our Customers by satisfying needs, exceeding expectations, and making shopping visits pleasant and satisfying.
• Follow bagging procedures and provide carryout and parcel pickup service.
• Load merchandise into customer vehicles and return shopping carts to the store.
• Participate in required training and work with the team to increase customer satisfaction and sales.
