Cub Monticello is looking for a dedicated individual to fill a part-time overnight cashier position! Cashiers at Cub follow front end checkout procedures in all transactions, maintain positive customer relations, and process orders efficiently. This position requires ongoing customer interaction, providing prompt, courteous, and accurate service.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist customers and ensure proper service levels and courtesy from all associates
• Perform product scanning and processing of customer orders accurately and promptly
• Handle all forms of tender and coupons properly
• Manage voids, returns, refunds, and exchanges accurately
• Assist with customer questions or requests
• Maintain front end cleanliness and organization

Job Requirements:

• Operate equipment such as scanners, registers, approval machines, coupon machines, intercom, calculator, etc.
• Stand for long periods
• Possess basic reading, writing, math, and memorization skills
• Provide ongoing customer interaction with prompt, courteous, and accurate service
• Exercise good judgment with limited supervision
• Follow verbal or demonstrated instructions; request supplies as needed
• Work varying shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Must be 16 years or older

Physical Requirements:

• Lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs
• Walking on uneven ground
• Reaching, bending, turning, repetitive motions
