Responsibilities

• Greet all customers entering and exiting the store
• Promote the Scheels Visa Rewards card and explain its benefits clearly
• Accurately balance the cash drawer at the end of each shift
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Engage with customers to add a personal touch to transactions
• End transactions with a courteous "thank you"
• Maintain a professional appearance on the sales floor
• Contribute to a positive team environment and personal growth
• Perform basic math and interpret data like bar graphs
• Read and understand instructions, memos, and correspondence
• Present information effectively to customers and team members
• Work scheduled hours which may include evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Assist with other duties as assigned

Schedule

Minimum availability of two weekends per month required. Average hours per week are 15-25.

Education & Experience

High school diploma or GED preferred; 1-3 months cashiering experience preferred.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to sit, stand, bend, climb, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without accommodations. Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally.
