Job description

Bettenhausen Automotive is looking for a Part Time Service Cashier to join our award-winning team in Orland Park, IL.

Job Responsibilities

• Receipting monies collected for service repair orders, parts counter tickets, and vehicle sales
• Assist with scheduling service appointments for customers.
• Verify service and parts invoices are closed properly with the correct pay codes.
• Guaranteeing checks through the UTA guarantee system following policy guidelines
• Balancing the cash drawer and finalizing the deposit.
• Provide backup coverage for main reception desk
• Organize and file service and accounting files as needed; purge files when necessary.
• Light lifting

Part Time Position:

• Variable evenings: 3:30pm - Close (between 7 and 8pm), and rotating Saturdays.

Job Requirements:

• Must have a positive attitude

• Previous cashier experience preferred
• Previous Automotive experience preferred
• Accounting knowledge is a plus - this position can provide great experience for accounting majors!
