Job Overview

Cub Blaine East is seeking a dedicated individual for a part-time cashier position. Cashiers at Cub follow front-end checkout procedures, maintain positive customer relations, and process orders efficiently. This role involves ongoing customer interaction, providing prompt, courteous, and accurate service.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist customers and ensure proper service levels and courtesy from all associates.
• Perform product scanning and processing of customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Handle all forms of tender and coupons properly.
• Manage voids, returns, refunds, and exchanges accurately.
• Address customer questions or requests.
• Assist with front-end maintenance and cleaning.

Job Requirements

• Operate equipment (scanner, register, approval machine, coupon machine, intercom, calculator, etc.).
• Able to stand for long periods.
• Good reading, writing, memorization, and math skills.
• Provide prompt, courteous, and accurate customer service.
• Use good judgment, especially when supervision is not immediately available.
• Follow verbal or demonstrated instructions; request supplies as needed.
• Work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be 16 years or older.

Physical Requirements

• Lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs.
• Walking on uneven ground.
• Reaching, bending, turning, repetitive motions.

Schedule

• Morning shifts starting at 6:00 am.
