Job description

Bettenhausen Automotive is looking for a Part Time Service Cashier to join our award-winning team in Lockport, IL.

Job Responsibilities

1. Receipting monies collected for service repair orders, parts counter tickets, and vehicle sales.
2. Assist with scheduling service appointments for customers.
3. Verify that service and parts invoices are closed properly with the correct pay codes.
4. Guarantee checks through the UTA guarantee system following policy guidelines.
5. Balance the cash drawer and finalize the deposit.
6. Organize and file service and accounting files as needed; purge files when necessary.
7. Perform light lifting.

Part Time Position :

• Variable evenings: 3pm - Close (between 7 and 8pm), and rotating Saturdays.

Job Requirements :

• Must be a team player, dependable, and able to provide exceptional customer service.
• Must have a positive attitude.
• Previous cashier experience preferred.
• Previous automotive experience preferred.
• Accounting knowledge is a plus; this position can provide great experience for accounting majors.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
