Job Title: Part-Time Customer Service Associate

This is a part-time position. The primary responsibility is to take excellent care of our customers by satisfying each customer's needs, exceeding their expectations, and making every shopping visit a pleasant and satisfying experience. This includes following proper bagging procedures, providing carryout and parcel pickup services, loading merchandise into customer vehicles, and returning shopping carts to the store.

Requirements and Skills

1. Essential Duties: Perform all essential duties satisfactorily. Adaptations may be made for individuals with disabilities. Must be at least 16 years old.
2. Personal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Willingness to participate in required training and collaborate with the team to enhance customer satisfaction and sales.
3. Language Skills: Ability to read and understand simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English. Ability to write simple correspondence in English. Capable of effectively presenting information to customers and colleagues who speak only English.
4. Mathematical Skills: Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers.
5. Reasoning Ability: Ability to understand and follow detailed instructions. Handle problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
6. Certificates and Training: Complete company training including new hire orientation, customer service, safety, bagging techniques, and product knowledge.
7. Physical Demands: Ability to stand, walk, handle objects, reach, talk, hear, and smell regularly. Occasionally climb, balance, kneel, or crouch. Must be able to lift/move up to 40 pounds and reach from 6 to 72 inches. Visual acuity for close vision and depth perception is required.
8. Work Environment: May be exposed to wet/humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, chemicals, and cold. Noise level is usually moderate. Reasonable accommodations can be made for individuals with disabilities.
