Job summary

IGA Market in Blythewood, SC is seeking a part-time front-end associate to support daily sales, cash handling, and guest services. You’ll process transactions, manage payments, and help maintain accurate cash drawers while delivering friendly service.

Ideal applicants are dependable, able to lift up to 25 lb, stand for extended periods, and work well with others. Flexible scheduling and weekly pay are offered in a family environment.

Qualifications

• Friendly, outgoing personality.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs occasionally and 15 lbs constantly.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Demonstrated math and arithmetic skills.
• Effective communication and guest service skills.
• Experience with front-end operations.
• Ability to supervise hosts including training.

Responsibilities

• Sales, Cash and Invoice Accounting tasks.
• Prepare weekly cash report and accompanying documentation.
• Process invoices and transfers as assigned; beer/wine payments.
• Prepare bank deposits and manage cash office activities.
• Maintain cashier tills and front-end security standards.
• Monitor Operator Activity Reports and perform audits.
• Ensure proper guest service levels with daily scheduling.
• Process guest orders to support the No Noticeable Wait policy.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
