Job summary

FirstLight Home Care of Rockwall is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide essential support and care in home care settings. The role focuses on enhancing clients' quality of life through attentive caregiving, patient observation, and assistance with daily activities.

• Minimum of one year of prior experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home and community care settings is highly preferred.
• Experience caring for individuals with dementia/Alzheimer's is advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and the demonstrated ability to work independently.
• Demonstrated familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality.

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing rooming, and mobility support.
• Provide timely medication reminders.
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to client dietary plans and assist during mealtimes.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive environment through light housekeeping duties.
• Offer emotional support and respectful companionship to enhance the well-being of clients with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or other cognitive impairments.
