Job summary

Home Instead Ames is seeking an experienced caregiver for part-time daytime hours across Ames & Boone, Iowa. You will provide hands-on personal care, maintain dignity and safety, and help older adults stay safe, independent, and engaged.

We offer a starting wage of $17 per hour, weekend shift premium, paid orientation and training, vacation pay, health insurance, 401(k) with company match, opportunities for additional hours, and 24/7 on-call support.

Qualifications

• Experience providing hands-on personal care per client care plans.
• Able to bathe, dress, groom and toileting support with dignity.
• Reliable with valid driver’s license and transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on personal care per client's care plan.
• Mobility support and safe home navigation.
• Meal preparation and light housekeeping.
• Transportation to appointments or errands.
• Provide companionship and engage meaningfully.
