Job summary

Family Resource Home Care is hiring caregivers in Klamath Falls, OR. Join an award-winning team delivering compassionate in-home care, with flex scheduling and weekly pay. We provide training, support, and opportunities to grow with clients who need assistance in daily living.

Role requires 18+, ability to lift up to 50 lb infrequently, a valid driver’s license, and a smartphone to use our care app. Background checks are required and orientation is paid.

Qualifications

• 18 years+
• Ability to lift a minimum of 10lbs and up to 50lbs rarely
• Must own a smartphone and use a mobile app
• Ability to pass state and national background checks
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and clean driving record
• Ability to complete required caregiver/HCA trainings as needed

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, grooming
• Provide companionship and engage clients in daily activities and hobbies
• Transport clients to stores or appointments as needed
• Monitor and report on client conditions
• Support client with bathing, dressing, and mobility as required

Pay Rate:

$21.00 to $23.50 per hour/based on assignment

Caregiver Job Duties

Our caregivers support their clients in activities of daily living such as (but not limited to):

• Household chores (cleaning, laundry, dishes, etc.)
• Cooking and/or serving meals
• Helping clients bathe, dress, and groom
• Providing companionship through daily activities and hobbies
• Driving clients (as needed) to the store or appointments
• Monitoring and reporting on their condition

Additional Information

• Washington only – If you do not have a current HCA or CNA license, you will be required to enrol in our HCA training program we offer (due to state requirements). You will be required to complete the training within 120 days.
• Oregon only – If you have not previously completed the state-required 8-hour Home Care Pulse caregiver training, you will be required to complete the training along with the nurse-led medication training before you can work with clients. You will be paid to complete both trainings!
