We have great incentives set up to retain the best caregivers. The backbone of our incentive structure is sharing ownership of our agency with our caregivers via profit sharing, with plans to distribute up to 50% of the agency profits to our employees as the business grows.
We are looking for a compassionate Caregiver to be part of our team and join us in our mission of enhancing seniors’ lives, one day at a time. You work individually with clients, one-on-one, providing a variety of non-medical services that allows you to form relationships with seniors who desire to age in place in their own homes.
This open position is for 16 hours per week with shifts Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays & Fridays from 12pm-4pm at an Independent Community.
RESPONSIBILITIES
With dignity, compassion, and care, your duties include, but not limited to:
Companionship
Encourage fluids, eating and activity (walking around the community and engaging with others)
Retrieving food from the dining hall for lunch and dinner
Light housekeeping
Transportation for appointments
QUALIFICATIONS
CNA or HHA license preferred or 12 months of work caring for geriatric or chronically ill persons
Exceptional communication skills
Reliable transportation; must also have proof of a valid driver's license and auto insurance
Proof of current TB testing
Must be physically able to perform the duties of this position
Mature, caring, punctual, and reliable
Pass a criminal background check (national and required by the state)
