Job summary

Actikare Responsive In Home Care is seeking compassionate Caregivers, CNAs, or HCAs to join our team in Everett. This hiring is immediate and requires licensed and insured drivers. Typical hours range from part-time; schedule flexible to meet client needs.

As a caregiver you will provide companionship, assist with daily living tasks, accompany clients to appointments, and help maintain independence at home. Training and a supportive team culture are offered.

Qualifications

• Washington state CNA or HCA certification required or in training.
• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass background and fingerprint checks.
• U.S. work authorization required.
• Ability to read, write, and follow directions in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide pleasant and supportive companionship
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)
• Assist clients with personal care, hygiene, dressing, and other daily living tasks
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own, including preparing meals
• Prepare for clients
• Report any unusual incidents to agency, medical professionals, and family members
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

Caregiver Compensation and Benefits:

Caregiver / Home Care Aid (HCA) / Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Responsibilities:

• Provide pleasant and supportive companionship

Caregiver Requirements:

• ActiveCNA or HCA certification with the state of Washington - or proof of completion or current enrollment in training program


• Valid driver's license, proof of auto insurance, and reliable transportation


• Ability to pass a criminal background check and fingerprint check


• Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions in English


• U.S. work authorization (Mandatory)


• Strong commitment to reliability and punctuality


• Must be respectful and compassionate with a good bedside manner


• Outstanding communication, time management and interpersonal skills


• Physical endurance to complete required tasks
