Job summary

Seniors Helping Seniors provides non-medical in-home support to help older adults remain independent and engaged in their communities. We connect mature, compassionate adults with clients in their own communities for companionship, light assistance, and reliable transportation.

This is a flexible, part-time role in Minnesota with no certifications required. You will receive orientation, ongoing training, and a supportive team to help you grow while making a meaningful difference.

Qualifications

• Genuine compassion and respect for older adults.
• Dependable, trustworthy, with good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive, friendly attitude; patience, maturity, and professionalism.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation with insurance.
• Ability to comply with Minnesota state requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Providing companionship and conversation.
• Preparing light meals and snacks.
• Light housekeeping and household organization.
• Running errands and grocery shopping.
• Transportation to appointments and activities.
• Medication reminders.
• Supporting clients living with Alzheimer's disease or other forms of dementia.
