Job Description: Caregiver at Meadowbrook Village Christian Retirement Community

Meadowbrook Village Christian Retirement Community, a non-profit organization in Escondido established in 2009, is seeking compassionate and dependable caregivers. We offer independent, assisted living, memory care, and skilled nursing services, aiming to help residents age in place while honoring our mission to "Honor God by serving others with love and compassion."

Available Shifts:

• Sundays 7am-2:30pm
• Sundays 2:30pm-11pm (URGENT NEED)
• Wednesdays 5pm-11pm

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide personalized care and support to residents, including assistance with activities of daily living
• Perform light housekeeping for residents
• Escort residents to/from meals
• Manage medication services and other assisted living tasks as needed
• Respond to resident emergencies with a team available 24/7

Qualifications:

• Ability to pass a criminal background check, drug screening, and physical exam
• Commitment to excellence in care and resident dignity
• Maintain professionalism and adhere to HIPAA standards
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to work on weekends and holidays

Prior experience as a professional caregiver for seniors is not required; relevant experience such as caring for a senior family member is beneficial. All caregivers will receive comprehensive online and in-person training before working independently.
