Job summary

Elite Care at Oatfield Estates in Milwaukie, OR is hiring caregivers to provide daily resident support, including ADLs, emotional encouragement, and health monitoring. Shifts include Sun-Wed 6am-6pm or 6am-12pm for part-time; wage is $19.00–$22.50 per hour. You must be authorized to work in the U.S.

and have reliable transportation. We offer a strong benefits package (medical, dental, vision) for 30+ hours/week, PTO/sick time, continuing education support, and an employee referral program.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 months' experience in behavioral health or similar preferred.
• Able to speak, read and write English fluently.
• Value and respect of those in long-term care.
• Have consistent attendance/reliable transportation.
• Ability to document properly in charts and portal.

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with ADLs.
• Teamwork, cooperation, training & development.
• Assist clients with personal care, including bathing and dressing.
• Provide emotional support and encouragement to residents.
• Monitor and report changes in health, behavior, or needs.

Caregiver responsibilities

As a caregiver with us, you will provide daily care to our residents by supporting their daily activities of living. This includes bathing/bathroom assistance and providing emotional support and encouragement and monitoring and reporting changes in health, behavioral needs, and overall necessities of our residents.

Work Location: 4444 SE Oatfield Hill Rd, Milwaukie, OR 97267

Full-Time Shift: Sun-Wed 6am-6pm; Wednesday is a half shift.

Part-Time Shift: Sun-Wed or Thurs-Sat, 6am-12pm

Compensation: $19.00 to $22.50 per hour

Caregiver Responsibilities

  • Morning/Evening Preparations
  • Morning/Evening Dress and attire
  • Provide emotional support and encouragement to perform necessary tasks
  • Monitoring and reporting changes in health, behavior, and overall needs of clients
• Maintain a clean, safe and orderly environment for both residents and colleagues
• Ability to correspond and document properly for resident charting purposes.
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis and ambulate quickly and often throughout a regular shift.
• Must be able to pass a background check with the State of Oregon.
