Silverado Encinitas is seeking compassionate Caregivers to support residents with Alzheimer’s, dementia, and memory-impairing conditions. You will provide hands-on daily living assistance, build meaningful relationships with residents and families, and help maintain a safe, engaging environment.

Training is provided and opportunities for growth exist within a top-ranked aging services leader. Schedule: Part Time, AM shift, Mondays and Tuesdays with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience with Alzheimer’s/dementia preferred but not required.
• Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards.
• Effective communicator in verbal and written English.

Responsabilités

• Provide compassionate care and assistance with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, dining, etc.).
• Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and fellow team members.
• Support residents with memory impairments in a safe, respectful, and engaging environment.
• Maintain accurate care records and report changes to the nursing team.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Provide compassionate care and assistance with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, dining, etc.)
• Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and fellow team members
• Support residents with memory impairments in a safe, respectful, and engaging environment
• Maintain accurate care records and report changes to the nursing team

Qualifications:

• High school diploma, GED, or educational equivalent preferred
• Experience caring for individuals with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or other debilitating conditions (preferred but not required)
• Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards
• Effective communicator in verbal and written English
• Active role: walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.)
• Comfortable working around animals and pets

Anticipated pay range

$22 - $24 USD
