Job summary

Lutheran SeniorLife is seeking a part-time Caregiver in Butler, PA to assist participants with personal care and related activities. Shifts vary, and the position offers a starting pay of $17 per hour with a $6,000 sign-on bonus paid over the first year of employment.

The caregiver will support LIFE program participants and other community-based services, promoting independence and adherence to rehab plans while ensuring safety and compassionate care. Benefits are available to eligible employees.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED, or 1 year related experience.
Minimum 1 year of experience caring for a disabled or elderly individual.
Must have dependable transportation with a valid driver's license to visit clients.
At least 1 year experience with the frail or elderly.

Responsibilities

Assist participants with all aspects of personal care activities.
Assist participants with instrumental activities of daily living to promote increased independence.
Reinforce and comply with rehab initiatives and clinical modalities.
