Job summary

Shalom Family Care seeks a part-time in-home caregiver to support seniors in Pleasanton with dignity and warmth. Choose your shifts—weekday, evening, and weekend blocks—ideal for students, parents, or semi-retirees.

You will provide personal care, prepare meals, assist with mobility, and offer companionship while maintaining client privacy and safety. Training available; opportunity for full-time or CNA sponsorship in the future.

Qualifications

• Experience as a caregiver, HHA, PCA, or similar role.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification or commitment to earn within 30 days.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and follow safety protocols.
• Clear, compassionate communicator who respects client privacy.
• Reliable, punctual and passionate about enriching seniors' daily lives.

Responsibilities

• Personal care with dignity: bathing, grooming, dressing, safe transfers.
• Healthy meals & homes: prepare simple meals, tidy spaces, light laundry.
• Daily mobility & exercise: support gentle walks or stretches.
• Medication reminders: keep clients on schedule and note changes.
• Meaningful companionship: engage in conversation, games, or outings.
