Job summary

Homewatch Caregivers Of Huntington Newport Beach is seeking a part-time caregiver for flexible in-home senior support, including weekend care from 9am to 4pm and other weekday clients. The role involves assisting a young lady with epilepsy with balance issues, meal prep, bathing, and companionship.

Qualifications

• Experience as a caregiver, HHA, CNA, or similar role preferred (training available for the right heart).
• Current CPR/First Aid (or commitment to earn within 30 days).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and follow all safety protocols.
• Clear, compassionate communicator who respects client privacy.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and safe transfers.
• Prepare simple, nutritious meals; tidy living spaces and light laundry.
• Support daily mobility and therapist-approved stretches.
• Provide medication reminders and note wellness changes.
• Offer meaningful companionship through conversation, activities, and errands.

Part-Time Caregiver – Flexible In-Home Senior Support

Sat & Sun care from 9am-4pm + other weekday clients

This position will be caring for a young lady with Epilepsy with minor seisures on the weekend. She can walk with assistance due to balance issues, needs to have her food cut up and fed to her, is independant with toileting and needs some assistance wiping. loves the Price is Right and companionship. Lives with her father and will do some training.
