Job summary

Comfort Keepers is hiring a part-time caregiver in the Brainerd Lakes area. Earn $18.00 per hour, with possible $20.00 after qualifying for a CNA class after 5 months.

We offer free CNA classes if you are certified and a schedule built around your availability. Responsibilities include personal care, meals, documentation, errands and light housekeeping, with emphasis on compassionate client support.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
• Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with all personal care needs.
• Assist clients at mealtime and monitor eating habits.
• Ensure required documentation is complete and in compliance.
• Provide errands and transportation with own vehicle.
• Assist with housekeeping tasks.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding each client.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written

• Able to assist both male and female clients with personal cares
• Must have had driver's license for at least 3 years, personal vehicle to use during shift
